Hello Brothers & Sisters,

The annual Kid’s Christmas Party was held on Sunday, December 18th from 1pm to 3pm. A great time was had by all! A special thank you to Julia Wilkerson and all her helpers for doing a great job putting on the Christmas party for the kids. I would also like to thank Santa (Tim Richards) for his part in the festivities.

Red Solo Cup PartyEffective Dec. 31st, 2011 our Lodge Treasurer, Tim Johnson, will be leaving his post. Tim's dedication and knowledge in this field has certainly proven to be a valuable asset to our Lodge. Thank you Tim for your outstanding service. Effective January 1st, Lodge member Chris Cryer will be appointed as interim Lodge Treasurer. In accordance with section 12.150 & section 3.090 of our Annotated Statutes, nominations & elections to fill this position for the remainder of our fraternal year will be held at our next regular meeting on January 3rd.

On January 8th the Lodge will hold this years "Hoop Shot" at the Ogdensburg Free Academy gym. The shoot is open to boys and girls aged 8- 13. Please come out and support our young kids. If anyone would like to help out with the hoop shoot please contact Ted McDonald.

Super Bowl Party 2012: For practical purposes of planning, all seats for the football party must be paid in full by January 14, 2012. After that date ALL available seats will be sold on a first come basis.

A donation box was made available in the Lodge for donations for the annual Veteran's Christmas drive. Thanks to a great outpouring of generosity from our members, many items were delivered to deserving Veterans in local nursing homes. Thanks to Jennifer Neaton, John Bressett and all helpers for this event.

I am currently looking for additional members for the House Committee. If you think you have some new ideas or just want to help out the Lodge please let me know. The House Committee is asking for assistance from the membership. ANY member of the Lodge who can donate a little spare time and help out in the kitchen will not be turned away. If you are interested and can lend a hand from time to time, please see a House Committee member or leave your contact information with Sandy.

Don't forget about gift certificates that are available at the Lodge, they can even be used to pay membership dues!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Fraternally,

Ted McDonald
